📥 Install the D4E JDBC Proxy

1. Download & Prepare
     Download the file, then rename it to jdbc-proxy.zip.
     Unzip the contents into C:\d4e\jdbc-proxy\.
     Right-click the file → Properties → if you see Unblock, tick it → OK.
     As with any software, we recommend scanning the file with your antivirus.

2. Java Requirement
     The JDBC Proxy requires a Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
     Please install JRE version 17 (or later) if it is not already available on your system.

3. Adding Other JDBC Drivers (DB2, Oracle, etc.)
     Option A: In Windows Command Prompt, set the environment variable:

          set D4E_PROXY_HOME=\\path\driver_foldername
     Option B: Copy the JDBC driver files into:

          C:\d4e\drivers\


✅ You’re Ready

Once installed, D4E can connect through the JDBC Proxy to your supported databases.
